On February 12, 2019, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Chief Student Support Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Business Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and the General Counsel. 

Resolution Number 2018-2019.28 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $92,600 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense. 

The following contracts are presented for ratification: 

1. (Fund 01) 2019-2020 Annual Lease Agreement between AUSD and Alameda Education Foundation (AEF).

2. (Fund 01) Licensing Agreement between AUSD and Illuminate Education for an annual fee of $39,660.00.

3. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Choose College Educational Foundation for a flat fee not to exceed $80,000.00. (WMS)

4. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Nirelle Collins for an hourly rate of $100.00 with a total not to exceed $108,000.00.

5. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Interpreters Unlimited for a varied hourly rate with a total not to exceed $35,000.00.

6. (Fund 13) Food Services Agreement between AUSD and Bright Horizons Family Solutions LLC with a price schedule of $3.50 per student lunch.

7. (Fund 01) Service Agreement between AUSD and School Based Reimbursement Partners, LLC, for an estimated annual fee of approximately $20,000.00.

8. (Fund 01) Service Agreement between AUSD and School Based Reimbursement Partners, LLC, for an estimated annual fee of $18,000 plus an hourly rate of $250.00 for training as required.

9. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Alpha Vista Services Inc. DBA The Stepping Stones Group for an hourly rate of $67.00 with a total not to exceed $84,420.00.

10. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and RO Health, Inc. for an hourly rate of $50.00 with a total not to exceed $36,000.00.

11. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and RO Health, Inc. for hourly rates between $50-$60 per hour with a total not to exceed $164,700.00.

12. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Ellen Hoke Corp. for an hourly rate of $65.00 with a total not to exceed $70,200.00.

13. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Ellen Hoke Corp. for an hourly rate of $145.00 with a total not to exceed $43,500.00.

14. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Bright Path Therapists for an hourly rate of $80.00 with a total not to exceed $46,080.00.

15. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Bright Path Therapists for an hourly rate of $85.00 with a total not to exceed $122,400.00.

16. (Fund 01) Amendment to Memorandum of Understanding between AUSD and Peralta Community College District Regarding High School Special Admit Classes.

17. (Fund 01) Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Alameda Family Services for an increase of $85,000.00.

18. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Paul J. Marks for a total of $44,000.00 for FY 19-20 and 20-21.

19. (Fund 01) Agreement between AUSD and The Speech Pathology Group, Inc. for an projected total of $1,119,344.00.

20. (Fund 01) Services Agreement between AUSD and The Regents of the University of California for a total of $29,260.00.

21. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Anne MacMillan for an hourly rate of $100.00 per hour with a total not to exceed $28,800.00.
