On August 13, 2019, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Chief Student Support Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Business Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer.

Resolution Number 2019-2020.03 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $92,600 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense. 

The following contracts are presented for ratification: 

1. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) for services provided per need/funding availability with a total not to exceed $55,192.00.

2. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Bay Area Bioscience Education Community (BABEC) for a services in FY 19-20, 20-21, and 21-22 at a rate of $75.00 per hour with a total not to exceed $25,000.00.

3. (Fund 25) Project Addendum No. 1843.01 to Agreement for Architectural Services between AUSD and Quattrocchi Kwok Architects for a fixed fee of $127,200.00 and reimbursable expenses up to $2,500.00. 

4. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and DirectEd Educational Services for an hourly rate of $35.00 an hour with a total not to exceed $70,000.00. 

5. (Fund 01) Management Consulting Agreement between AUSD and Terris Barnes Walters Boigon Heath, Inc. (TBWB) for a total not to exceed $140,000.00.

6. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and 360 Degree Customer, Inc. for an hourly rate of $95.00 an hour with a total not to exceed $109,060.00.
