Alameda voters approved Measure I in November 2014, and the Bond Program Project Schedule: Option 5A was approved at the April 14, 2015 board meeting.

As the bond program schedule dictates, there will be various contracts to come before the Board for approval.  Contracts may include construction bid contracts, architectural services contract addenda, specialists/consultants agreements, etc. Staff has created a standing board item to approve the bond program contracts to keep the bond program contracts separate from the approval of other contracts.

The following contracts related directly to the Measure I Bond Program are presented for ratification:

1. (Fund 21) Amendment No.1 to Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Miller Pacific Engineering Group for an increae of $6,530.00. (EJSHS)

2. (Fund 21) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Orbach Huff Suarez + Henderson LLP for an hourly rate of $265.00 with a total not to exceed $50,000.00. 

The following change orders all numbered PCCO #001 are from the same Lease-Leaseback Contract for Multi-Campus Fencing at Earhart, Bay Farm and Otis. The Division of State Architects requires separate change orders to align with each DSA application number, thus they are all referred to as PCCO #001. 

3. (Fund 21) Change Order #001 to Lease-Leaseback Contract between AUSD and Lathrop Construction Associates for an increase of $52,716.77. (Earhart)

4. (Fund 21) Change Order #001 to Lease-Leaseback Contract between AUSD and Lathrop Construction Associates for an increase of $19,137.70. (Otis)
