Item Title:Out-of-State Field Trip Request: EJSHS to Minneapolis, MN

Background:

Encinal Jr. & Sr. High School is seeking approval to travel to Minneapolis, MN on field trip to study the 2019 DECA Central Region Leadership Conference.  This item presents the field trip request documents including the letter to the Board of Education for out-of-state field trip approval. 

 

Participants will join exciting general sessions filled with interactive and engaging content and will have the opportunity to select one of three tracks: Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Hospitality. In each track, DECA members will dig deep and learn through hands on sessions which will culminate in a project with prizes for top performers. This conference also presents students with seminars for job readiness training and career building.
