Item Title:Approval of Love Elementary Family Involvement Policy for the 2019-20 School Year

Background:

In support of strengthening student academic achievement, each school district that receives Title I Part A funds must develop a written parental involvement policy. This policy comes before the Board annually and requires Board approval. On October 17, 2019, the Board approved AUSD's Parent Involvement Policy (BP 6020).

 

Pursuant to Board Policy 6020, Title I schools must also annually review and revise site Parent Involvement Policies with stakeholders. The policies for following Title I schools were approved by the Board on October 17, 2019:

  • Paden Elementary
  • Ruby Bridges Elementary
  • Wood Middle School

Tonight, The Parent Involvement Policy for Love Elementary is being presented to the Board for approval.
