On August 13, 2019, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Chief Student Support Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Business Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer.
Resolution Number 2019-2020.03 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $92,600 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense.
The following contracts are presented for ratification:
1. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Jerrold Connors for a flat fee for services which shall not exceed $33,000.00. (Otis)
2. (Fund 01) Service Agreement between AUSD and Bay Alarm Company for an installation charge of $23,400.00 and monthly service charges totaling $8,540.00 through June 30, 2020 for a total contract value of $31,940.00. (Ruby Bridges)
3. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Apodaca Mechanical & Consulting, Inc. for a total fee of $16,000.00. (Love and Lincoln)
4. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Alameda Family Services for a flat fee which shall not exceed $255,000.00. (Various)\
5. (Fund 01) Joint Use Agreement between AUSD and Galileo Learning, LLC, for a total of $47,890.50 earned revenue for AUSD. (Edison)
6. (Fund 01) Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Cal West Visuals, Inc. for an increase of $30,000.00. (Various)
7. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Zum Services, Inc. for round trip fees of $170 and $206 with a total not to exceed $49,256.00.
