| Background: | Over the last few months, the district has been gathering community input to develop a graduate profile. A graduate profile is a model or an articulation of the skills, dispositions, and general knowledge we want kids to have and know when they leave our schools. The graduate profile will inform the forthcoming strategic plan as that strategic plan outlines and prioritizes the investments we make and the action steps we will take to make sure that all of our kids can realize the aspirations of the graduate profile.
During this Board item, we will provide an update on the graduate profile and begin a process of analyzing data to determine the gaps between our current state and the vision for students our graduate profile embodies. |
